Found in the wild in Croatia, fennel has become a global culinary hit with the rise of the Mediterranean cuisine. Its healing properties have been known since prehistoric times. This honeyed treasure trove of health, with anise-like aroma and taste, is used for eye, lung and kidney problems, muscle relaxation as well as for improving both appetite and metabolism. Therefore, our Fennel brandy is an ideal aperitif, but also an aromatic umami in various dishes and cakes. It is obtained by maceration of fennel in our domestic komovica.
